• OBJECTIVE
    • The objective of the Society is the advancement in the field of earthquake engineering and earthquake hazards mitigation practice to enhance the nation's seismic preparedness and welfare.
  • ACTIVITIES
    • The Society shall achieve its objective by:
      • promoting research on fundamental theories and their applications in earthquake engineering.
      • promoting research on earthquake hazards mitigation technology and policy.
      • disseminating research findings in earthquake engineering.
      • promoting and facilitating the interchange of information.
      • promoting technology transfer.
      • publishing and distributing technical reports and journals.
      • holding conferences, seminars, and short courses.
      • performing the site inspection and post-earthquake reconnaissance.
      • performing other activities deemed necessary for achieving the objective of the Society.
