Purpose of Establishment

The Earthquake Engineering Society of Korea (EESK) aims to contribute to national security and public welfare by promoting research in earthquake engineering, advancing disaster prevention strategies, and supporting the development and dissemination of related technologies.

  • - Research on the fundamental theories and applications of earthquake engineering
  • - Research and proposals on countermeasure strategies and disaster-prevention technologies against earthquake hazards
  • - Research studies and dissemination of achievements in earthquake engineering

  • - Publication of journals, proceedings, research reports, and other literatures related to earthquake engineering
